Christopher Ryan Causgrove
Director and Co-Owner

Christopher Ryan Causgrove was born in Chicago in 1979 and has spent the majority of his professional life there. Educated at Columbia College’s Film and Video Department, he has acted variously as a director, screenwriter, editor, sound editor, foley, director of photography, HD camera assistant, set designer and possibly more. Outside of film he has worked as a professional photographer as well as a construction & technical director for local stage shows. He is very pleased to be the staff director and regular contributor to 812 North Productions.

Melissa Dunn
Director of Photography and Co-Owner
Melissa Dunn is a Hoosier at heart, born and raised in Indianapolis. She moved up to Chicago to attend Columbia College and has a BA in Film/Video. Melissa also worked at Columbia’s Lighting Stage as a Technician and Teacher’s Assistant. She has worked extensively in commercial lighting and photography. Melissa also has a background in editing, working as an assistant editor for television and documentary productions. Melissa now loves being a city girl and being a videographer. As a DP she has shot everything from children’s educational videos to rock music videos and enjoys every minute of it. All Melissa needs is a camera in her hand and she is ready to rock.

Garrett Farrelly
Producer & Co-Owner

Garrett Farrelly is a lifelong Chicagoan. and has served as writer and producer on all of 812 North’s projects, overseeing the financial aspects as well as contributing to the creative process. Garrett holds two Masters degrees (History and Library Science) and is a nationally published columnist on young adult librarianship. He has had several short stories published including a short in the journal “Nature”. Garrett is very pleased to be part of the 812 North Productions team.

Elise Miller
Executive Producer
Elise Miller is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Dominican University. She is a degreed librarian and certified professional Governess. Her work with 812 North runs the gamut from financial liason and production design to helping out on-set. Elise has been working with 812 North from the beginning and is an invaluable member of the team. Though she was too modest to contribute to this bio.
